Attach the Input/Output Shield to the Case

 
Open your ASUS X99-AII Motherboard box.

Carefully remove the Motherboard package on the top.
 
The Motherboard is wrapped inside a protective Anti-Static bag.
 
Do not remove the Anti-Static bag yet!
 
 
In the bottom of the package, you will find the Motherboard Input/Output Shield.
 
ASUS calls this the ASUS Q Shield.
 
 
This is the front of the Shield
 
 
This is the back of the Shield
 
 
Notice how this Shield must be oriented.
 
The Mouse connector should be on the top of the case.
 
 
This Shield is installed from the inside of the case.
 
Press on all 4 corners till the Shield snaps onto the case opening.
 
 
Your ASUS Q Shield installation is now complete.
