Monitor with a DisplayPort Input

 
A Dell UltraSharp U2412M is being used in this example.
 
 
Connect the USB Mouse to the top USB 2.0 Port as shown
 
 
Connect the USB Keyboard to the USB 2.0 Port next to it.
 
 
Connect a DisplayPort Cable to DisplayPort Output #1 on the Graphics Card.
 
 
Connect the other end to the DisplayPort Input on the Dell UltraSharp U2412M monitor.
