Open the M.2 Screws Package
Look for the M.2 Screws Package inside your Motherboard box.
You will find 2 screws.
Make sure you are wearing your Anti-Static Wrist Strap.
Remove the Motherboard from its protective Anti-Static bag.
Make a note of the M.2 Slot on the Motherboard.
Fasten the M.2 Standoff Screw in the hole indicated below.
Make a note of the notches in the pins.
Orient the M.2 Internal SSD, so that the notches match.
Gently push the Internal SSD all the way into the M.2 Slot
Next, you will need to secure the SSD by fastening the 2nd screw into the standoff.
For this special job, you need to use your #1 Phillips Screwdriver with a Magnetic Tip.
Lift the screw using the Magnetic Tip.
Hold down the Internal SSD, and gently tighten the screw on top of the standoff.
Do not over tighten.
You have finished installing the Samsung 950PRO M.2 Internal SSD.
Note: You can use any #1 Phillips Screwdriver to fasten this screw like the one shown below.
However, the job becomes tricky when you do not have a magnetized tip.
You can magnetize any screwdriver with the Wiha Magnetizer/Demagnetizer Tool.
