Total Bytes Written (TBW)

The Samsung 850 EVO SSD carries a TBW Rating of 150.

This means this product is warrantied to write up to 150 Terra Bytes of data.

Over a span of 10 years, that comes to an average 15 TB of data written per year.
This translates to 41 GB of data written every single day. It is a lot!

However, you will be using the Samsung 850 EVO SSD as your scratch drive.
This will involve a lot of write cycles.

You can check how much data has been written to the SSD at any point in time, using the Samsung Magician Software.

The warranty applies to 150 TBW or 10 years, whichever comes first.
