What is the ideal amount of Thermal Paste?
When you install the CPU Cooler, the pressure from the base plate will squeeze out the Thermal Paste to cover the top of the CPU in a circle or oval.
The ideal amount of Thermal Paste should spread close to the edge of the CPU without spilling over as shown in the picture below.
