Create a new folder = C:\DAVID\EXB

Copy the Zip file to C:\DAVID\EXB

Unzip the file

C:\DAVID\EXB\arcgis-experience-builder-1.7\

Explore the ArcGISExperienceBuilder Folder

C:\DAVID\EXB\arcgis-experience-builder-1.7\ArcGISExperienceBuilder\

Examine the Client folder

C:\DAVID\EXB\arcgis-experience-builder-1.7\ArcGISExperienceBuilder\client\

Examine the your-extensions folder

C:\DAVID\EXB\arcgis-experience-builder-1.7\ArcGISExperienceBuilder\client\your-extensions\

Examine the widgets folder

C:\DAVID\EXB\arcgis-experience-builder-1.7\ArcGISExperienceBuilder\client\your-extensions\

This is where you will be adding your Custom Widgets.

To make the path even shorter, copy the ArcGISExperienceBuilder folder to C:\DAVID\EXB

C:\DAVID\EXB\

Rename ArcGISExperienceBuilder to EXB2

C:\DAVID\EXB\

The path to the widgets folder is now shorted to:

C:\DAVID\EXB\EXB2\client\your-extensions\widgets\

It will be a lot simpler to manage the files within this shorter pathname.

Examine the server folder.

C:\DAVID\EXB\EXB2\server\

The certificates are stored in the cert folder

C:\DAVID\EXB\EXB2\server\cert\
